Natural Disaster Research (May - August 2024)

Conducted research and identified gaps in natural disaster response efforts. Compared the outcomes of natural disaster assistance using LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and fine-tuning techniques. Used GPT-4o and Llama 3.1 models.

Build Your Own World (BYOW Game) (April 2024)

Developed UI and back-end for a 2D tile-based world exploration engine in Java. Experienced full SDLC. Utilized data structures including disjoint sets (Union Find), maintained persistence across several game states. Used GitHub for continuous integration.

Ngordnet (Ngrams, Wordnet) (March 2024)

Developed Java packages for exploring the history of word usage in English texts. Used several data structures, including graphs, hashmaps, and graph algorithms to analyze relations between words efficiently. Developed automated tests, used GitHub for CI.

Waste Classification (November 2023)

Utilized Python TensorFlow Keras and Sci-kit Learn on a 21,915-image waste dataset, developing a convolutional neural network with approximately 70% accuracy in waste classification across 10 categories.

Age and Gender Detection (May 2023)

Applied Python OpenCV computer vision and blob detection to identify the age and gender of a person with around 70% accuracy.

Credit Card Fraud Detection (April 2023)

Leveraged Python Sci-kit Learn and Random Forest Classification to train a model that identifies fraudulent credit card transactions with a 99.95% accuracy.
